Matt's Resume

Hi. My name is Matthew Evert.
I'm a designer and this is my resume.

About This Site

An online resume you say? Yep. Want to know why? (I thought so.)

The purpose of a resume is to provide a summary of skills and experience, right? This is 2013 though, and as a designer I felt like the traditional method of creating a Word or PDF document was both antiquated and dull.

It made more sense to *show* my skills rather than just talk about them. So with that, this site is a testament to my abilities of having a good idea, and executing it. In addition to this, I have actual examples of work near the bottom of the page, so if this site doesn't speak for itself, hopefully they will help.

Want a hard copy anyway? No problem, I have one of those, too.

Maybe you're just so impressed you want to wade past the awesomeness and contact me. I wouldn't blame you.

Statement

My passions are solving problems and growing business. I'm most interested in work that allows me to use my skills in creative solutions, strategy and design in a great capacity. My strength in both creative and logical thinking allows me to not only conceptualize and present ideas (design) but to use technical skills to see those ideas come into fruition (development).
